As the Holidays come to a close here are a couple of last minute Christmas wrapping ideas. This year my husband and I broke with tradition of buying Christmas wrapping paper and I used craft supplies I already had lying around the house along with herbs growing in my garden.
I used a large roll of brown craft paper that I normally use as backing when framing pictures to wrap the gifts. Instead of expensive ribbon for larger packages I used a large spool of green raffia and rustic twine and then tied rosemary from my garden into the bow.
My husband even got into the Christmas spirit and spent 2 hours wrapping my gifts. I have to admit I think he out wrapped me. (His are the ones with the purple and teal ribbon!) A pretty sweet job in his attempt to redeem men’s gift wrapping abilities.
